Sergius Seebohm

Sergius Seebohm is Managing Director at Seebohm.berlin and an expert for advocacy with 15 years experience in political communication and campaigning who started his consultancy focused on global affairs, sustainability and social change in 2014. As Communications Director he contributed to the growth of the world’s largest campaigns platform, Change.org, which grew in Germany from 60,000 to over two million members in less than 18 months. Before, as head of communication for the advocacy organization ONE, he lead for over five years various lobby efforts for poverty reduction, global health and transparency, prepared numerous high-level meetings for individuals such as Bono, Bill Gates or Bob Geldof and masterminded award winning campaigns.

Sergius started his career in Public Affairs as a consultant for clients such as the Federal Government of Germany, Coca-Cola, Bayer and studiVZ, winning an award for his work for the P.E.N. writers association.

Sergius studied philosophy, literature and law and has a masters degree in political science. Two years at the WestLB bank and an MBA-degree in Public Affairs and Leadership, which he completed as best of his class, underscore his business expertise. He is also engaged in fair and transparent lobbying ethics, being deputy board chair of the German Association of Political Consulting and Member of the German Council on Public Relations.
